By Lisa Stone
Derek Flint is a CCTV installer with his own business. He's a rather sad and lonely character who still lives at home with his domineering mother. His evenings are spent spying on his clients by logging into their CCTV systems. When a series of crimes befall several of his clients, the police believe he must be guilty. But is Derek the perpetrator or is he being set up?
Stalker was an enjoyable, quick and easy read. The portrayal of Derek as someone who takes pride in his work yet is socially awkward was excellent. The reader feels sorry for him despite his creepy spying shenanigans. The story was good and very unsettling — could something like this actually happen in real life? An entertaining read with an uncomplicated thrilling plot.
